Podcasting is more popular than you thought
In this five minute webinar, Edison Research shows us that podcasting has a surprisingly large influence in the American market. In their ‘Share of Ear’ study, they looked at adults and teens to understand their listening habits. Whilst podcasting may not be hugely popular, those who listen, really pay attention.

Amazon’s Prime Music Coming to Switzerland
Amazon’s music streaming service ‘Prime Music’ may be coming to Switzerland after being launched in the US according to Swiss paper Handelszeitung, although there hasn’t been a response from Amazon yet.

iHeartMedia Nabs Former Microsoft Executive
iHeartMedia, formally Clear Channel has hired the former senior Microsoft veteran Gayle Troberman for the newly created role of VP & CMO. Troberman was hired as a consultant to help with their recent rebranding. She will be responsible for brand, strategy and direction of the new brand.

in this white paper BIA Kelsey examine ‘Content Marketing’ which is marketing that is designed to engage consumers more organically than traditional advertising and how to do this effectively within the context of the mobile and social age we live in.

Ex-BBC Presenter Launches Unique Promo Delivery Platform
Former BBC Presenter Paul Hamill recently launched tech start up Inflyte. Hamill who is the founder states that their new software allows DJs, Producers and other radio staff to receive instant feedback from their listeners about their adverts.

BBC Celebrates 10 Years of Podcasting
The BBC, who were first British broadcaster to offer podcasts has celebrated their 10 year anniversary by announcing the top 30 most downloaded podcasts. In November 2014 Radio 4 released ‘In Our Time’ which was the BBC’s first podcast.
