It’s been a busy first month of the year in the world of digital and here at Exaget we’ve been hot on our heels keeping track. January has kicked off 2015 with some very interesting trends and developments to keep an eye out for in the rest of the year; but it has also been busy with developments at Exaget.RockSport Radio re-launch One of our broadcasting partners, formerly known as Eklipse Rock Sports Radio, celebrated their re-launch earlier this month as RockSport Radio, with a brand new image and improved user interface. Their new app is available to download here.
ZoneOne Radio
We also have on board ZoneOne Radio, who are now featuring our new audio pre-roll. A central London community radio station bringing you the diverse music and culture of this metropolis, their app is available to download on both Android and iOS.
Skyscanner
The first of our audio pre-roll adverts has gone live – for Skyscanner, the world’s travel search engine, featuring interactivity such as sharing, tweeting, and tapping the screen to be taken to the Skyscanner website, where listeners will be able to book their summer holiday flight while on a dismal Monday morning commute. It is currently running through three of our partnered stations – ZoneOne Radio, Awaz FM, and RockSport Radio – and our Reach app.

Exaget Newsletter – December 2014 Win £25 Amazon Voucher!
It’s been a busy month here at Exaget, as we round off 2014 and look forward to seeing what new trends the New Year will bring. In this issue of our Monthly Review we’ll be looking at some of our highlights, as well as recapping the year in an interview with our CEO, Shankar Meembat.
We kick things off with our recent blog, Skip Ad – the one with the Nicki Minaj video. (Our latest addition to the team, Sales and Marketing Assistant Regina, was pretty ‘chuffed’ with herself at being able to legitimately squeeze it into a corporate blog).
But tongue-in-cheek humour aside, she explores the negative viewer experience of the visual pre-roll versus the positive listener experience of a well-produced audio one. [Read more here]
This month we’re excited to announce our latest broadcast partnership with ‘Scotland’s Asian Radio Station’, Awaz FM in Glasgow. Awaz FM is a community radio station, serving Glasgow’s Asian and African populations. They broadcast in English, Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi, Swahili and Paharhi.[Read more here]
Year In Review; Exaget’s Sales and Marketing assistant Regina Mykolaichuk gets the CEO’s perspective
I managed to catch our CEO here at Exaget, Shankar Meembat, in one of the rare moments when he had some spare time, and asked him ‘What’s happened this year?’ Here are his thoughts on the company and the industry, and what he’s looking forward to in 2015:
This year has been very fast paced, with some quite significant milestones both within Exaget and the industry as a whole. Going live with our first radio app was a fantastic achievement. But perhaps the biggest milestone was the commitment from UKRD in signing up to us…
‘Tis the month to be jolly, and Exaget are brimming with Christmas cheer! We’re giving away an awesome £25 Amazon voucher, which, if you’re the lucky winner, we’ll slip into your email stocking! To be in with a chance to win, simply click here! Onnea! Terms & Conditions

Interview with Exaget CEO; Shankar Meembat
Daniel Johnson, Exaget Business Development Executive recently sat down with CEO Shankar Meembat to talk about what it’s like working in a fast moving & rapidly developing tech startup.
What is your average workday like?
Pretty much full of work, I guess I am a bit of a workaholic. Yesterday I was checking my email at 3:30 am. Typically, when I wake up at 6, 6:30, I’ll be checking emails. Work days are very long. But very exciting.
Do you find you’re doing the same thing everyday?
I don’t think my days are similar. In terms of activities, they are similar but the content is always different. I spend a lot of time catching up on market reports and other times I’m getting on and fixing things. Variety is the spice of my life!
